Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how SocialManager.in handles information when you use our website, business management workspaces, HR tools, free online tools, document features and PDF/image utilities.
1. Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to SocialManager.in and the SocialManager products and public tools available through this website. SocialManager is developed by Skymint Digital. Some Managers may include their own feature-specific notices where a workflow requires additional information.
2. Information you provide
Depending on the feature you use, you may provide account details such as your name and email address, business profile information, customer or supplier records, product and inventory details, quotations and invoices, payment-status records, employee and HR records, documents, form entries, files, images, PDF files, tool inputs, preferences and support messages.
You should only provide information that you are authorized to use. When you enter information about customers, suppliers, employees or other people, you are responsible for having an appropriate reason and permission to process that information.
3. Account and authentication information
SocialManager may use WordPress account and session information to provide login and access-controlled workspaces. Authentication data, session cookies and security-related records may be processed to sign you in, protect your account, prevent unauthorized access and maintain the reliability of the service.
4. Business Manager data
Business Manager may process business details, customers, suppliers, products and services, GST-related fields, quotations, invoices, purchases, inventory, payments, expenses, reports, business profiles and team permissions. This information is used to provide the business-management functions you request and to keep records separated by the relevant business workspace.
5. HR Manager data
HR Manager may process employee records and work-related information such as attendance, leave, payroll, payslips, recruitment, assets, performance, training and related administration. Because HR information can be sensitive, users should limit access to authorized team members and avoid entering information that is not necessary for the intended HR workflow.
6. Tools Manager and public tool inputs
Tools Manager includes SEO, local SEO, business, finance, marketing, content and utility tools. The information a tool needs depends on that tool. Some calculations and transformations may be performed in the browser, while other tools may send a request to the SocialManager server or an external service when that is necessary for the feature. Do not enter confidential information into a public tool unless the tool clearly requires it and you are comfortable with the processing involved.
7. Document Manager, PDF Manager and uploaded files
Document Manager may store documents and reusable business records that you choose to save. PDF Manager and image tools may process files you upload to perform actions such as merge, split, compress, convert, organize, watermark, sign, resize or similar operations. Processing may occur in the browser or on the server depending on the tool. Temporary copies may be created when technically required to complete a requested operation.
Do not upload files containing unnecessary confidential, financial, health, identity or other highly sensitive information. You remain responsible for the files and content you submit and for having permission to process them.
8. Automatically collected technical information
Like most websites, SocialManager may receive technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested URLs, timestamps, HTTP status information, security events and server logs. This information may be used for security, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, performance monitoring and service reliability.
9. How information is used
We may use information to provide requested features, authenticate users, maintain business or HR workspaces, generate documents and reports, process files, save user preferences, secure accounts, detect abuse, diagnose errors, improve reliability, respond to support requests, comply with applicable legal obligations and communicate important service information.
SocialManager does not promise that every feature uses the same storage method. Where practical, browser-based processing may be used to reduce unnecessary transfer of data.
10. Cookies and local storage
SocialManager may use cookies, browser storage or similar technologies for login sessions, security, preferences, application state and essential website functionality. Blocking essential cookies or storage may prevent some logged-in features from working correctly.
11. Third-party services
Some features may rely on hosting providers, email delivery services, payment processors, Google services, authentication providers, analytics or other technical providers when those services are enabled. Third-party services process information under their own terms and privacy policies. SocialManager does not control the independent policies or availability of third-party platforms.
12. Payments
If paid features are offered, payment information may be handled by a third-party payment provider. SocialManager should not require users to send complete card or online-banking credentials through ordinary website forms or support messages. Payment providers may collect information directly under their own privacy terms.
13. Data sharing
SocialManager does not sell personal information as a business model. Information may be disclosed to service providers when reasonably necessary to operate a requested feature, protect the service, investigate misuse, comply with law, enforce applicable terms, or protect the rights and safety of users or others.
14. Data retention
Retention depends on the type of information and the feature being used. Account, business, HR and saved-document information may remain until it is deleted by an authorized user, the related business or account is removed, or retention is otherwise required for security, backup, dispute, fraud-prevention or legal purposes. Temporary processing files should be retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the requested operation and technical housekeeping.
15. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service, which may include HTTPS, authenticated access, permission checks, request validation, access separation, rate limits and server-side security controls. No website, storage system or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
16. Your choices and requests
Where available, you can update or delete information through the relevant SocialManager workspace. You may also request assistance with account or data questions by contacting us. Certain information may need to be retained where required for security, legal obligations, legitimate operational records or dispute resolution.
17. Children
SocialManager is a business and productivity platform and is not designed as a service directed to children. Users should not intentionally submit children’s personal information unless they are legally authorized to do so and the information is necessary for a legitimate business purpose.
18. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as SocialManager features, legal requirements or technical practices change. The current version and its “Last updated” date will be published on this page.
